Primary duties

  • Generate leads utilizing various outbound marketing methods and tools
  • Follow up on inbound leads in the moment and qualify them for the sales reps
  • Schedule leadership demos for sales reps and executive team
  • Conduct initial contact such as discovery calls and needs assessments by phone and email
  • Conduct one-on-one/small group discovery product overviews via Zoom
  • Maintain and update CRM data with an attention to detail and focus on completion
  • Plan and maintain events calendar and logistics for the sales initiatives and campaigns
  • Achieve monthly or quarterly goals for generating new leads and contribute to closed sales goals
  • Stay abreast of market trends and competition
  • Maintain awareness and keep abreast of software features and updates

Secondary duties

  • Assist in covering chat during high-volume moments, vacations and other scheduling needs
  • Work with colleagues on identifying new and creative ways to message product benefits and unique selling points
  • Work with contractors on executing special projects

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years experience as a client service representative or inside sales representative and a track record of sales success
  • Experience in the education field or SaaS preferred
  • Excellent presentation and active listening skills
  • Understanding of CRM and video conferencing systems, emailing best practices, and campaigning
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of people
  • Excellent communication and logic skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
